Our story begins with Monica and Rick Badgley, a couple passionate about both baking and giving back. Monica, a Mansfield native, has been an award-winning cake designer for years, while Rick, a U.S. Air Force veteran, shares her dedication to service and community.
Our bakery was created by blending the legacy of Crumbcoat Cakes for a Cause with Share N’ Dipity, both well-loved ventures that had one thing in common: using baking as a way to bring joy and support to others. With this combined passion, The Bakehouse was born, offering artisanal breads, pastries, cakes, and more, all while supporting the Salt and Light Foundation, which provides food for families in need in Sri Lanka.

Unlike mass-produced baked goods, artisanal items are crafted in small batches with attention to detail, flavor, and texture.
As an artisanal bakery, we bake fresh daily with the goal to sell out each day. We do not hold or reserve items, so we encourage customers to visit early to ensure availability. You can also call ahead to purchase over the phone, with a service fee of $0.15 plus 3.5% to cover additional credit card company fees.
